![]() ![]() From being a Merit Honoree at the 2018 Council of Black Faculty and Staff Awards Dinner to being one of the founders of TogetHER (a club for “Empowering and Mentoring Womxn of Color”). Although this is her last semester in this job position since she is retiring, she will always be remembered by the accomplishments she made and the history she left here at Stockton. Maralyn has been a facility member that many can turn to when it gets tough. Dr.Mason has never turned her back on a student regardless if they were EOF or not. She has always lent a helping hand or went above and beyond to her students that need it. Mason went through a similar program as EOF but in Pennsylvania, EOP, she further understands the importance of this program.īesides being extraordinary at her job, she has assisted students not only in the classroom or academically she has helped with personal aspects as well. She has taught the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) students that the EOF program was more than a five-week summer academy but an extension of family that will always be there for you! Since Dr. Maralyn worked in high education for over 20 years and has been a mentor for more than 350 students. Maralyn Mason! She is currently the Executive Director of Educational Opportunity and Success Programs here at Stockton University since 2015. Dee is a shining example of working for and maintaining accomplishments to achieve goals over the long run, we are proud to have her as a soon to be two time Stockton University Graduate □ -RA Madison Herrera She is extremely friendly, and constantly seeks to maintain a healthyīalance of school, work and a social life. A well rounded individual, Dee has been engaged with a number of clubs and organizations on campus. As a graduate student working for a degree in Occupational Therapy she is expected to graduate between December and May (due to COVID-19 delays) and for two years she has been a graduate assistant for the Occupational Therapy program.Īs a future Occupational Therapist she aims to work specifically with special needs children. Dee also was a Resident Assistant for one year and has worked tirelessly for the University’s Office of Residential Life as a GraduateĬoordinator for two years. For three years of her undergraduate career, spent achieving a degree in Health Science, she was a student athlete. Even more, Tri Sigma’s philanthropy supports hospital play therapy programs for children. ![]() As a dedicated, caring Sorority, we aim to serve those in need. Tri Sigma believes in outreach within our communities. As we enter into a state of being Sisters, we become a Sisterhood. Tri Sigma friendships are built around our core values of faith, hope, love, wisdom and power. We find friends within the bonds of Tri Sigma and we regard these friends as sisters. Reaching out to others who joined them on the journey, together, they established a sisterhood called Sigma Sigma Sigma. These women shared a special bond as friends who regarded each other as sisters. In 1898, stepping out on a path from Farmville, Virginia, eight young women away from home and family, found each other and began their journey in friendship. ![]()
